Whispers in the Night: A Journey of Wonder and Surrender

In the silence of the night, I lay awake,
Mind restless, unable to sleep,
Pondering what tomorrow brings,
As the dawn begins to sing.

Yet, a presence nears,
Peace gently whispers,
Hope and joy tiptoe,
Painting a smile on my lips.

Lost within the pages of a cherished book,
I find solace, a refuge.
And in those lines, a message
A reminder to embrace life, as it comes.

“You, sent out beyond your recall,
Go to the limits of your longing
Embody me.
Flare up like a flame
Make big shadows where I can move”1

A quieting within
Calming, centering
Gently surrendering
To the words echoing

As the night turns into day
Abundant assurance of walking
not an alone journey
but an all one wonder-ing.

I close my eyes
I ask for blessings
As I embark on the path
Where life leads me at this time

When we find ourselves wandering, may we trust the light within, to reflect the beauty of the mystery along the way.

Weeya, thanks so much for your blog. Your art piece is so intricate in its reflection of your sacred journey of wonder and surrender. I particularly love the lines: “hope and joy tiptoe, painting a smile on my lips,” wow! How beautiful.
