As Christmas draws near and the year softly folds into memory, I find myself drawn to a gentle examen practice that invites me to see, to listen, to revisit the roads that have wound their way through 2025, even as I glimpse the path of 2026 ahead.
And so, with the light of Christmas guiding this reflection, I offer an RNDM Christmas Examen, a weaving of prayer, remembrance, and hope.
Remembering with Gratitude
I pause to recall the gifts of awe and wonder that have graced this year:
hands planting seeds of healing and renewal,
voices of youth singing new songs of hope,
hearts crafting pathways of belonging and oneness
The Word made flesh in so many ordinary, simple ways.
Nurturing Relationships
I give thanks for tables shared that lifted weary spirits,
for screens that turned strangers into friends,
for bridges built amidst differences.
Incarnation present in the love that connects and welcomes all.
Discerning Vulnerabilities
I hold in prayer places that cast shadows:
the ache of war and displacement,
the cries of our wounded Earth,
the restless fire of technology,
the fears that rise when we forget
our shared oneness and inter-connectedness with all.
Christmas light yet fragile, flickers faithfully here too.

This is beautiful, thank you Weeyaa!
