The sun invited me out for a stroll one day

toward the path where the babbling stream plays.

Children’s laughter echoed in the air

With leaves rustling, what a melodious pair.

Drawing closer the joyous scene came into view.

Children pointing to the stream, all in queue

Dancing as the suns rays on the water

Reflected the sun and displayed shades of golden colors

Amidst their play, the children repeatedly chanted

“The sun in the sky, in the water, in you and me. Yehey”

A smile graced my heart as I stood therein

Realizing their innocent eyes could see within

Even in their play
