This is so easy and folks enjoy it, especially when served with rice. Hilda Lang is the big rice cooker! Delicious!

Equipment

  • 1 casserole dish

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs 3 lbs. chicken pieces

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Russian Dressing
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam
  • 1 pkg dry onion soup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Arrange chicken pieces in single layer, skin side up in casserole dish or baking pan.
  • Mix the sauce ingredients together. Spoon over chicken making sure to get some on every piece.
  • Cover. Bake in 350F oven for 1 hour until tender.

Variations

  • Quick chick curry: Mix in 2 tsp. curry powder with above sauce.
  • Quick chick orange: Use orange marmalade instead of apricot jam.
