- 1 9 x 5 inch baking pan
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole brazil nuts
- 1 1/2 cups whole pecans
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup whole red cherries
- 1/2 cup whole green cherries
- 1 candied pineapple ring, sliced
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 F if using a Pyrex baking pan, or 300 F if using a metal baking pan.
- Mix together fruits and nuts.
- Sift together sugar, flour and baking soda and pour over fruit and nut mixture.
- Beat together eggs and vanilla and fold into mixture.
- Bake in loaf pan for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
