Ingredients
Filling
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup raisins, chopped nuts or peel
- 3 tbsp margarine
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pinch of salt
Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 tbsp margarine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Mix all the filling ingredients together and turn into a greased baking dish.
- Mix the topping ingredients well and pour over the batter.
- Bake for about 30 minutes.
- Serve hot. Ice cream enhances the taste.
