Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup raisins, chopped nuts or peel
  • 3 tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pinch of salt

Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 tbsp margarine

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Mix all the filling ingredients together and turn into a greased baking dish.
  • Mix the topping ingredients well and pour over the batter.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve hot. Ice cream enhances the taste.
